I see trees of green
red roses, too
I see them bloom
for me and you
And I think to myself

I see skies of blue
and clouds of white
On the bright sunny day,
or in the dark sacred night
And I think to myself
"What a wonderful world !"

I see the colors of the rainbow
so pretty in the sky
And also on the faces
of people going by
I see friends shakin' hands
sayin' "How do you do?"
I know they're really saying
"I love you"

I hear babies cry
I watch them grow
I know they'll learn
much more than I'll ever know
And I think to myself
"What a wonderful world !"
